Cane Bay Plantation:
Cane Bay Plantation, located in Summerville, SC, is a 4500 acre tract of land that is under the development of Charleston's Gramling Brothers Real Estate and Development. The area will be the home to 10,000 homes, area schools, churches, a hospital, winding bike trails and a 120 acre lake. The retirement community of Del Webb Charleston is also included in the Cane Bay Plantation area.
The Builders
Three builders are currently building in Cane Bay Plantation: Centex, First Coast Homes and Pulte Homes.
Centex Homes is developing Old Rice Retreat of Cane Bay which is further divided into three sections:
Marsh Grove - Marsh Grove at Old Rice Retreat will be a community of homes ranging in size from 1,580 to 2,896 sq. ft.
Salte Pointe - With Salte Pointe at Old Rice Retreat, Centex is working to follow the traditional Southern architecture of old-fashioned front-porches and Charleston style homes. Homes will range in size from 1530 to 2475 sq. ft.
Sweetwater - Sweetwater at Old Rice Retreat offers a wide selection of executive homes with up to 3,200 square feet of beautifully designed interior space!
Tidal Creek - Tidal Creek offers a collection of floorplans ranging in size from 1,621 to 2,453 square feet.
First Coast - First Coast Homes is developing the Sanctuary Cove section of Cane Bay Plantation. They will be following Craftsman style architecture with their home offering.
